We take being a great place to work seriously.

In the book you’ll write about your career, we want the chapter about your time at Signal Theory to be the best one. Here you’ll find a culture that values curiosity, courage, accountability, unreasonable amounts of optimism and the golden rule.

You’ll learn things here. You’ll be challenged here. You’ll also laugh. A lot. You should be prepared for undue pressure to perform well in trivia competitions, unmerciful judgment regarding your taste in cinema, lots and lots of Thanksgiving food, a few office dogs, occasional improvisational singing in the hallways and consuming an unfathomable amount of M&M’s.

If most of that sounds OK, there’s a very good chance you’ll like it here. It’s true that no place can ever be perfect. But we’re committed to attempting it anyway.

Benefits to brag about.

Signal Theory provides employees with comprehensive healthcare options including traditional PPO and high-deductible plans with health savings accounts, a 401k retirement matching program, company profit-sharing contributions and competitive PTO offerings. In addition, we’re proud to offer some special benefits you won’t find everywhere:

Hybrid Work

Work/life balance is important. We've embraced a hybrid work schedule at Signal Theory that empowers you to collaborate seamlessly whether you’re in the office or at home – all within the same week with a 3 days in office and 2 days work-from-home schedule. Our Jumpstart Fridays program also lets you get a head start on the weekend by allowing for a 4½ day work week.

Connected Manager Program

You want to keep learning and growing, right? We want that for you too, and that is why we have developed the Connected Manager Program, a commitment to provide regular one-on-ones with your manager (every week, to be exact), as well as more formal training for managers to help them help you grow.

Parental Leave

We believe in the importance of family. That’s why we provide up to eight weeks of 100% paid parental leave for newborn or newly adopted children for both moms and dads.

Sabbaticals

We help employees who stay with us re-energize with a paid four-week sabbatical. We’ll even contribute up to $750 in travel costs if you choose to experience cultures outside the United States.

Office Dogs & Pawternity

Research suggests that dogs can foster a friendlier and happier workplace. We are here for it. You can apply to have your best friend join you in the office on a rotating basis. In addition, we also provide up to two weeks of WFH days per year for taking care of a new (or under-the-weather) furry friend.

Employee Stock Ownership Plan

As part of a 100% employee-owned company, you’ll come to work each day knowing that you have skin in the game. We’ll contribute a portion of company profits toward your personal shares of Signal Theory stock.

Education Reimbursement

Intellectual firepower is something we value. That’s why we share in the cost of employees going back to school to complete undergraduate and postgraduate degrees or professional certifications by contributing up to 50% of tuition and textbook costs.

Wellness Reimbursement

Whether you love to run marathons or do yoga, Signal Theory is here to cheer you on. To promote a healthy lifestyle, we reimburse each employee up to $500 per year to spend on wellness expenses.

Community Service Volunteer Hours

We are all about supporting ways to improve the world we live in. We give our employees a set amount of paid time off to pursue volunteer activities that are important to them.
