Project Manager

Job Description

SHS is looking for a project manager in our Wichita, KS office. We are seeking an individual who has a solid understanding of project management methodology, a great attention to detail and is ready to work in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will be able to manage multiple priorities for clients and has a desire to drive the overall workflow process.

The goal for this role is to help the team operate as a well-oiled machine, to ensure that projects flow in and out of the agency, and to exceed clients’ expectations.


Project ownership

  • Own and drive the overall project and campaign workflow process
  • Build project schedules and budget estimates that align with internal and external expectations
  • Adjust project schedules to reflect changes in time, scope and resource availability
  • Manage projects from start to finish including scheduling, cost estimation, process and quality control, communication, as well as risk, stakeholder and scope management

Strong communicator

  • Ability to clearly communicate to key stakeholders on project deliverables, scope and budget
  • Detail oriented
  • Collaborate with peers, clients and leadership

Forward thinker

  • Ability to think beyond the immediate project and resources
  • Anticipate what’s next and develop recommendations to leadership
  • Contribute to project management processes by assisting in process creation/updates


  • Bachelor-level degree in business, marketing, advertising or related field
  • 3-5 years of experience managing projects in a business environment
  • Ability to lead and motivate project teams to meet commitments
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven attention to detail
  • Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Comfortable with change; flexible, adaptable approach
