Sullivan Higdon & Sink Wins Two National ADDY Awards

June 14, 2004

At the 2004 National ADDY Awards held in Dallas on June 12, Sullivan Higdon & Sink (SHS) brought home the contest's highest honor - a gold ADDY - for a three-dimensional direct mail piece that the advertising, marketing and public relations firm created for Cessna Aircraft Company. SHS also earned a silver award for a poster created for Big Rick's Bar-B-Q Sauce.

Greg Hobson, Jeff Filby and Chuck Miller of SHS, along with Tom Zwemke of Cessna, developed the Cessna mailer based on a replica of the Wright Brothers" experimental kite. The Big Rick's poster was the brainchild of P. Scott Flemming and Steve Hobson.

"We're proud of winning two national ADDY awards this year," said Joe Norris, managing partner. "Being the only Wichita agency to receive this recognition is an honor. It reflects the quality of work we do for our clients and the faith they place in us. It's really a team effort."

About AAF ADDY Awards Sponsored by the American Advertising Federation, the ADDY Awards honor excellence in advertising and cultivate the highest creative standards in the industry. The competition begins at the local level with the 210 AAF-member clubs nationwide from which local winners proceed to 14 regional competitions, and those winners proceed to the national finals.
