SHS and its client Merial had much to celebrate at the 2012 National Agri-Marketing (NAMA) Awards. SHS garnered five first-place wins for its creative and public relations work for Merial, a world-leading, innovation-driven animal health company. In addition, John January, the agency’s senior vice president and executive creative director, was recognized with the NAMA Horizon Award for his outstanding contributions to the organization.

“The agricultural marketing industry is multifaceted and the judges had a broad spectrum of great work to evaluate. It’s an honor to know our peers saw our work as award-worthy,” said Rand Mikulecky, managing partner, SHS. “Every day, we strive to make our clients’ brands truly remarkable and I’m proud of the creative excellence our team has produced for Merial.

“I’m equally pleased that one of our agency’s leaders has been acknowledged for his contributions to the industry. John has long been an integral part of SHS and has now truly established himself as a leader within the agricultural community. We congratulate John on his achievement and applaud his unequivocal passion for advancing the level of communications for the agricultural industry.”
