The Sheep Show: The Art of Hating Sheep

We’ve made sheep-hating an art. Sort of. Really, we made art about hating sheep. Then we hung it all over our office. Stroll on over and enjoy our anti-ovine illustrations this First Friday — we’ll bring the lamb chops.*

*There will be light hors d’oeuvres — there probably won’t be lamb chops.

Join us at First Friday’s art gallery showings in the Crossroads for Sullivan Higdon & Sink’s Sheep Show. Why the Sheep Show? The Midwest-based advertising indie’s long-standing motto, “We Hate Sheep,” serves as a reminder to lead instead of follow and to never blend in, a missive the company’s creatives took to heart for the work you’ll see featured.

The Sheep Show will feature art, of course, a photo booth and refreshments. Featured art pieces will be from local and national advertising award winners, including Joe Wilper, Sam Dorman, Seth Gunderson, Mary Crawford, Jon Kowing, Amanda Fuson and more.

It is open to all curious minds who don’t think “different” is a dirty word.

“We’ve always been proud to be part of the creative community in the Crossroads,” says John January, co-CEO of Sullivan Higdon & Sink. “We wanted to do something different that also gave our creatives an opportunity to showcase their own styles. It’s going to be a great time.”

Date: Friday, October 6th
